Signiant Secures $10 Million


Signiant, Inc., a leader in distributed data management, has raised $10 million in a round led by new investor North Bridge Venture Partners, along with participation from existing investors Boston Capital Ventures and VIMAC Ventures. The capital is earmarked for expansion of the Signiant executive team and sales and marketing support for its Mobilize product line.


Signiant Mobilize technology is at the core of the company’s software solutions that enable enterprises to centrally control and securely manage widely distributed data assets without requiring investment in additional hardware or appliances. More than 350 enterprise customers across multiple vertical industries including finance, oil & gas, government and media & entertainment use Signiant solutions for remote data protection and media asset distribution. The Signiant offerings deliver tremendous cost savings and operational efficiencies.
